In April 2013, ezy launched a new web site and online booking engine for Air Iceland. The work has been going on since the second half of 2012 and is developed and built using ezyFlight - ezy's online sales platform for airlines. The new web sites includes both a re-design of the brand as well as several features for the booking channel. The reservation system is delivered by Radixx, a close partner to ezy. Except from offering new features to the flight booking, the IBE also offers add-on sales of rental cars, tours and hotels. The integration of these is built using ezyCars, ezyHotels tamis and ezySales - all part of ezy's product suite for the travel industry. tamis
The web site is availalbe in three languages; Icelandic; www.flugfelag.is Danish; tamis www.airiceland.dk English; www.airiceland.is Air Iceland, or "Flugfelag tamis Island" which is the icelandic name, is owned by Icelandair Group, and is thereby a sister company to Icelandair. Icelandair serves all international routes while Air Iceland serves domestic and regional routes tamis including the Faroe Islands tamis and Greenland.
