Anyone who has paid close attention when studying laundry hamper my last blog, would actually come to the conclusion that as a photovoltaic system expects difficult. The not too tight cost (estimated as 10-15000, - for normal single-family Häusl because you have to already expect) and then an over-production of electricity at times when you do not even need him so. Super wärs but if you can save the current a little bit.
So originally I did not at all know that I can save the current laundry hamper self-produced and self at my home. In principle actually a great thing: A battery in the basement. Approx. the size of an ice chest, everywhere to accommodate. The principle is very simple. Keller battery
An "energy manager" directs the electricity generated through the whole house. This Kastl decides independently whether the energy obtained directly the consumption of supplies (refrigerator, washing machine ...), stores or the public grid. Will be conducted preferably of course exactly in this order: First, the self-consumption cover (if you're smart, you turn then grade the power-hungry (dryer, dishwasher ...) when a lot of power from the roof coming down), then fill the house battery and the rest of the public power grid. Very clever
Sounds actually very reasonable. In practice, this means that I can use at night the energy gained during the day, and indeed from my own battery. This solves the annoying problem, that I do during the day produce a surplus and in the night / evening can not use a self-made laundry hamper stream where I actually laundry hamper far more consume laundry hamper than a day, especially for light, TV, etc. (Please be noted that mainly affects households of course, where the residents during the day stays rather less at home. For families with children, wherever he is at home, or someone has home office, the Gschicht already looks different. since probably the day consumes more power as in the evening or at night. In this case, of course I have more of a photovoltaic system!) So in my case I save the day and use (also) in the evening / at night. Sounds reasonable, it is also ... in principle ... But!
Now come the big "but" s! So a good storage medium currently costs more to purchase as much as the whole photovoltaic system. Unfortunately, the establishment of such a battery system (still) is not encouraged. This means that the payback as an investment not even live to see the Enkerln ... because if the batteries are not always out long ago! In addition, the creation of such a memory system is more than "environmental concern", with all the lead, acids and other necessary grayish materials. So my tip: Do prepare in creating their photovoltaic system, the ability to connect a storage solution thoroughly ... and then waiting ma just still a little something, maybe is happening there also something in the direction of promotion, price reduction, environmental manufacturing process ...
